I spoke to Taygan as I am the liaison between us and the client, (Taygan). She said that she "is happy to leave the video up to us" but obviously we will explain our ideas to her in advance and check she feels comfortable.
To give us ideas for our project we started to look at similar media texts including music videos from artists of a similar genre. This gave us lots of ideas as to what we would like to do.
After listening to her song multiple times I don't feel that the lyrics are strong enough to support a storyline therefore one will have to be invented that is cohesive with the most predominant lyric "Wait for love".

As the lyrics are very basic I feel that the other elements of the video need to be extra special to ensure the video is exciting. I felt that securing a professional looking location was key a key element contributing towards producing a high quality music video. Determined to find a mixture of unusual and classic locations (that were cheap as we didn't have a large budget) I researched into what was available.
As I knew we wanted a storyline as well as a live performance I decided that the "classic location" (e.g. a staged area etc.) would be better suited to the live performance. Therefore allocating the more unusual location to the storyline. On the off chance I went to my local shopping centre and asked for the over all manager; we then had a long sit down chat in her office as I explained our intentions and asked wether it would be a possibility. The out come was that after a bit of negotiating and persuasion she said she'd be happy for use to film in the centre at night, when its not open to the general public and for free!
