The video has no set storyline and instead focuses on a
performance and metaphorical footage designed to be emotive and replicate Adele’s
emotions. This helps create a rapport between the viewers and Adele making the
video more appealing.
The footage is a combination of both full colour and black
and white footage. I personally don’t like the mixture of the two and feel that
the person dancing in the sand seems odd compared to the rest of the footage
and shouldn’t have been included despite its aesthetically pleasing appeal.
